“My parents and mentors taught me the importance of helping others. Whether it was in the entertainment industry or the labor movement – I’ve tried to follow their example and their advice. It is important to speak up for others – regardless of their background – so everyone knows that their voice counts. Now, as a City Councilman, I strive to be a voice for all residents and make sure everyone has equal access opportunities. Right now, that means developing and implementing a pandemic recovery plan. We were moving at a fast pace and in the right direction and making great progress before the pandemic. I know that together we will come back stronger than ever.”
